Pay Your Bill

Student Bills

All bills can be viewed on MyMichiganTech. You will be notified via your Michigan Tech email account when your bill is available. Students who schedule after the due dates are advised to follow the instructions on the registration page. Registration bills must be processed by the due date to confirm your enrollment and retain your course schedule. A second billing is for adjustments occurring after enrollment confirmation.

Confirming Your Enrollment

You must pay the amount due to confirm your enrollment. If no money is due, then confirm your enrollment by clicking on the confirm enrollment button on the bottom of the online bill. If you miss the deadline, a late enrollment processing fee will be assessed to your account. Your enrollment will be canceled if not confirmed by 5 p.m. (Eastern time) on Wednesday of the first week of classes (by 4 p.m. Eastern time for the summer semester). A late enrollment/registration fee is assessed for students who reschedule.

529 and Investment Plans

The Student Billing Office does not bill entities for individual 529 or investment plans. This includes but is not limited to, state sponsored plans such as MESP, Florida Prepaid, and other plans. It is the student’s and/or parent’s responsibility to notify the holder of the 529 plan or investment to disburse the funds to MTU. Please inform your plan holder of your student's M# to be included on the check. This should be done as soon as possible after the student bill is available as it may take several weeks for the payment to be processed, mailed and received.  We cannot waive late fees or hold course schedules for a student if the 529 or investment payment has not been received.
