Telephone and SMS Text Message Alerts
If you have opted in to the Safety First Alert messaging system for telephone and/or SMS text messages, you will receive the initial alert by phone call and/or text. Check this page for updates.
Email Alerts
Email alerts are sent from Rave, the University's message alert system. Alerts will come from the email address, mtu@getrave.com.

Homepage Alerts
In the event of a non life-threatening emergency, information about the event will be displayed in an alert bar on the Michigan Tech homepage. In a life-threatening or catastrophic emergency, the homepage will be taken down and replaced by this page that will contain the latest updates.
