Recap: Student Town Hall Forums
Key Take-Aways from Town Hall Forums of Feb. 23 and Feb. 25
Once again we witnessed our students' grace, understanding, and tenacity during these
turbulent times, which we very much appreciate.
The summer and fall semesters are expected to be more open than the past year, although
that will ultimately be determined by safety and COVID infection levels. In fact,
we are using our pre-COVID schedules as a starting point, but adjustments are still
expected.
Dean Livesay reinforced his commitment to student success, research, and diversity
and inclusion. All three will be front-of-mind in everything we do.
Dean Livesay wants to hear from you about your experiences at Tech. You are encouraged
to email him (dlivesay@mtu.edu), set up a time for a 1-on-1 conversation, or drop-in during his Friday office hours.
