Tim Thomas ’81 recently had an opportunity to visit with Harold B. Vincent, a 1943 Mechanical Engineering graduate who lives in a senior citizen’s residence in Traverse City, Michigan.

“He says Tech was the best thing that ever happened to him,” reports Tim. “Harold told me he is originally from Painesdale, worked in the mines and was in the war.”

Harold worked on Diesel Locomotive’s for GM, and traveled the country to get them started in the rail yards. He later taught at Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn.
