Sarah Geborkoff ’00 selected for 2016 Dan Wolz Clean Water Education Award

Sarah Geborkoff ’00, Houghton Middle School Science Teacher, has been selected as the recipient of the 2016 Dan Wolz Clean Water Education Award by the Michigan Science Teachers Association (MSTA) and Michigan Water Environment Chapter.

She is a lead teacher in the Lake Superior Stewardship Initiative coordinated by the Michigan Tech Center for Science and Environmental Outreach and Western UP Center for Science, Math, and Environmental Education. Sarah brings her students to Michigan Tech for an annual science day each September.
