Kevin,
To add to the note in the ‘Email Bag’ from Jim Schluckbier, when I started at ‘da Tech’ back in the mid-60’s and some freshman asked about what the weather was like, one the classic responses was “Well it hardly ever snows in August.” I can certainly remember it snowing in June enough to cover the ground, but have to admit that in my 6 years in Houghton, I can’t recall seeing it snow in either July or August, but the rest of the year, well…

Thanks, John—It’s the warm week of the year, that one where it’s actually in the 80s and is humid. No snow until next week at the earliest.
