Not terribly difficult to identify anyone in this photo thanks to the caption, but I guess I didn’t realize that we had a football team that predated the forward pass. I do know that the football field used to be down here on the main part of campus, though.

So let’s go through some sports memories this time around, shall we? We’ll save hockey, basketball, volleyball, and tennis for another time and stick with the outdoor sports. What do you remember from your time here, either playing or spectating or cheering along?

The memory I’ll take away from here is watching bits of football and soccer while playing disc golf—I’m an avid disc golf player—on our course right here on campus. Seeing some of the buildup of plays but then moving out into the woods for the next hole means hearing some kind of roar to know what happened. Then maybe a glimpse at the scoreboard through the trees.
