Library's Second Floor Closing for Carpet Cleaning

The Van Pelt and Opie Library is undergoing carpet cleaning on the second floor starting Friday, July 5, at 1 p.m.

While the rest of the library will remain open for regular summer hours, the second floor will not be accessible and 3D printing and poster printing will not be available during the cleaning. The second floor is anticipated to reopen on Monday, July 8, at 8 a.m.

MS Defense/RQE: Caleb Rother, CS

College of Computing master's student Caleb Rother will present his final oral examination (thesis defense) for his Master of Science in Computer Science next Wednesday, July 10, at 11 a.m. in Rekhi 214 and via Zoom online meeting.

Rother's Research Qualifying Evaluation (RQE) for his Ph.D. in Computer Science will be given at the same time as the thesis defense.

The title of Rother’s thesis is “Recovering Access Control via Disk Forensics on Low-Level Flash Memory.”
