FSO — Did You Know?

Financial Services and Operations (FSO) will periodically be sharing information regarding a specific topic to increase awareness and knowledge in an “FSO — Did You Know?” article. If there is an FSO topic that you’d like to learn more about, please email fso@mtu.edu.

Supply Reimbursements — Petty Cash
To improve efficiency and cost effectiveness, FSO recommends that reimbursements for supplies that are less than $10 be made through a petty cash fund. If you don’t have a petty cash custodian in your department, or are unsure who is the petty cash custodian in your department, please contact FSO at fso@mtu.edu.

Further information on petty cash payments can be found on FSO's Accounts Payable page.
