Bachelor’s + 1 Semester = Graduate Certificate
Michigan Tech’s accelerated graduate certificates are a fast, affordable way to add graduate credentials to your bachelor’s degree. You can integrate your bachelor’s experience into a graduate credential in as little as one semester. Many of Tech's certificates are available online so you can pursue your academic upgrade without interrupting your career. On-campus accelerated graduate certificates are also available.
How it Works
In accelerated graduate certificate programs you can double count 3 credit hours toward both your bachelor’s degree and your graduate certificate. Most graduate certificates require 9 credit hours to complete.
You can go for an accelerated certificate up to two years after you graduate from Michigan Tech. But there's no reason to wait if you're ready now. You're all ready in learning mode!

Eligibility Requirements
Here's a checklist to see if you qualify. To be considered for admission into an accelerated graduate certificate program, you must:
- Be a current Michigan Tech undergraduate student in good standing and have achieved at least junior-level standing or be a recent bachelor’s graduate of Michigan Tech (less than two years).
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or above.
- Intend to complete both your bachelor’s and graduate certificate at Michigan Tech
- Apply for admission through the Graduate School application process.
