Stop by the Center for Diversity and Inclusion for cake and coffee. Meet our wonderful
staff and enjoy a tour of the Hamar House. Everyone is welcome!
Chemical Engineering | Chem Sci (19), Room 201 | 1–3 p.m.
Join the Department of Chemical Engineering for a social in our conference room and
tour the Unit Operations Lab from 1–3 p.m.
Chemistry | Chem Sci (19), Room 607 | 1–3 p.m.
Stop by the chemistry department between 1–3 p.m. to enjoy some light refreshments
while meeting our new department chair. We are excited to show off our newly refurbished
organic laboratories and you may even be able to sneak a peek at some of our new equipment.
Civil, Environmental, and Geospatial Engineering | Dillman (14), Outside Main Entrance
| 1–2:30 p.m.
Join the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geospatial Engineering at 1 p.m.
outside the Grover C. Dillman Hall main entrance. We will tour some of our new instructional
and outreach facilities, followed by refreshments in Dow 872 around 2:30 p.m.
College of Business | Academic Office Building (5) | 2–3 p.m.
You are invited to drop by for refreshments and informal discussions with some of
our current students. Share your memories and spend a few minutes socializing with
undergrads. (The most interesting story "wins"!) The students will be highlighting
examples of experiential learning from multiple course projects.
College of Forestry and Environmental Science | U.J. Noblet Forestry Building (18)

Please join the College of Forest Resources and Environmental Science for tours of
the building and several research labs. Learn from the researchers themselves about
the current projects and collaborations happening across the college.
Electrical and Computer Engineering | EERC (7), Room 515 (Social Space) | 1–3 p.m.
Relax and enjoy light refreshments with fellow alumni, friends, and electrical and
computer engineering (ECE) faculty and staff in our social space on the 5th floor
of the EERC. If interested, take a tour of our spaces and labs with one of ECE's amazing
student guides. Visit with ECE Chair Jin Choi and share your stories about ECE and
visions for the future.
Geological and Mining Engineering and Sciences | Dow (8), 6th Floor Atrium | 1–3 p.m.
Alumni and friends can join the geological and mining engineering and sciences (GMES)
department for a short guided tour from faculty/staff, or choose to wander on their
own to spaces that are open. Stop by to connect with GMES alumni, faculty, and staff,
and see what has changed since your time on campus.
Humanities | Walker Arts & Humanities Center (11) | 1–3 p.m.
Join the humanities department for a social and share your experiences in Scientific
and Technical Communication, Communication, Culture, and Media, English, Modern Languages,
or our other programs. Meet at the Walker Center’s doors to the lawn for chatting,
tours of our new facilities, and light snacks.
Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology | EERC (7), Room 426 | 1–3 p.m.
Join the Department of Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology (MMET)
for a meet and greet with faculty and staff, tour our lab facilities and MMET Machine
Shop, and learn about the new MS in Manufacturing Engineering. Meet in the Electrical

Do you remember where your favorite study spot was? Come explore the Van Pelt & Opie
library through a self-guided tour, see what's changed and what will always be the
same, thumb through yearbooks, and speak with library staff. Begin on the first floor
of the building.

50th Anniversary of Computer Science at Michigan Tech Celebration | Kanwal and Ann
Rekhi Hall (28) | 1–4 p.m.
Join us as we review our 50-year history of computer science at Michigan Tech. The
celebration of this anniversary will include a panel of alumni reflecting on their
days at Michigan Tech, short presentations by faculty and students highlighting current
research activities in the department, and tours of our facilities. Feel free to come
for all or part of our activities.
Career Services | H-STEM Complex (114), Outside | 3–5 p.m.
No need to stop by the office; Career Services will be outside the H-STEM Complex
(114) to welcome you with some fun. Look for our tent and try a spin on our prize
wheel, with the chance to win a jar of thimbleberry jam!
H-STEM Engineering and Health Technologies Complex Open House | H-STEM Complex (114)

Join us for an open house at Michigan Tech's H-STEM Complex, a new state-of-the-art
facility built to advance interdisciplinary research and education in health-related
STEM fields. Attendees will be encouraged to check out the shared, collaborative spaces
and cutting edge labs and meet our talented faculty from multiple disciplines.
