Charles Kellogg

Charles (Jeff) Kellogg completed his baccalaureate degree in civil engineering in 1966. He is the past President/CEO of Chateau Communities, Inc. of Englewood, Colorado. Chateau, Inc. is a self-administered and self-managed equity real estate investment trust and one of the largest owners/operators of manufactured housing communities in the United States; it is a public company and traded on the NYSE.
Mr. Kellogg joined Chateau Communities in 1973 as a construction superintendent and assumed positions of increasing responsibility as Director of Acquisitions and Construction in 1981, President/COO of Chateau Land Development in 1984, President in 1988, and President/CEO in 1993 until his retirement in 2002. Prior to joining Chateau, Inc., Mr. Kellogg had previously worked as an engineer in the petroleum industry for Schlumberger, Inc. and Mobil Oil.
While at Michigan Tech, Jeff was active in many university student organizations including: Blue Key, Student Council, the student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and Theta Tau Fraternity. He was also on the varsity swim team and received the Most Valuable Swimmer Award.
Jeff has three adult daughters, Sue, Beth and Ellen. He and his wife, Tamara, reside in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
