'10, '10Dr. Steve Short recently entered his ninth season with the Denver Nuggets and currently serves as the vice president of sports medicine. He joined Denver in fall 2014 as the team’s physical therapist and assistant strength and conditioning coach. James Voogt
'66Dr. James Voogt received his B.S. in Biological Sciences from Michigan Tech in 1966. He earned a Master's degree in 1968 and a PhD in 1970 from Michigan State in Physiology. In 1971, after a post-doctoral year at the Department of Physiology at the University of California in San Francisco, he started his academic career as Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at the University of Louisville . . .

David Rowe
'84, '91David Rowe earned two degrees from Michigan Tech and is doubly grateful for having them.He earned a bachelor's degree in biological sciences in 1984 and went on to medical school for a few years. Later, he realized business was his passion and came back to Michigan Tech in 1991 for a business degree, in preparation for an MBA in finance from Michigan State University in 1992.
