Dr. Shannon Dare Wayne

Biography

Shannon Dare Wayne, PhD, of Milan, is a Senior Manager in Global Quality at Ford Motor Company.  She is currently Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Milan, Michigan.  She chairs the Industry Advisory Board of the Department of Mechanical, Robotics, & Industrial Engineering at Lawrence Technological University.  Additionally, she is a board member of the Women in Engineering Leadership Society at Wayne State University.  She received the Lawrence Technological University Alumni Achievement Award in 2022.  Dr. Wayne holds a BS in Industrial Management & MS in Industrial Operations from Lawrence Technological University and a MS in Manufacturing Engineering & PhD in Industrial Engineering from Wayne State University.
