Project Management Competition
THE Project is an annual collegiate project management competition offered by the Western Michigan Project Management Institute (WMPMI). Each year, the College of Business recruits several teams to field in the upcoming competition.
Business Model Competition
The Bob Mark Business Model Competition provides a venue for students of all majors to pitch their entrepreneurial ideas before an audience and a panel of judges. Prior to the competition, students receive coaching from business professionals to hone their ideas and improve their pitches.
Husky Innovate
Husky Innovate workshops and events guide Michigan Tech students of any major through key phases of innovation and business development while emphasizing evidence-based strategies for success. Through participation, students will distinguish their résumé (or prepare to launch their own company), and will build knowledge, expertise, and confidence.
iOme Challenge
The iOme challenge is an economics competition that discusses how local organizations might engage the so-called Y or Millennial generation to think about their own future 40 years from now. Teams of students from across US universities submit an essay and a video that outlines their argument and engages video viewers with often scary but true facts.
Enterprise Business Initiative
The Enterprise Business Initiative is a cross Enterprise, collaborative group open to all students enrolled in the Enterprise program. The initiative gives participating students a forum to discuss business topics with each other, enhance their analysis, and develop conclusions and recommendations for projects.
Beta Gamma Sigma
Beta Gamma Sigma is an international honor society for students of business and administration in an AACSB-accredited program to promote the advancement of education and to foster integrity in the conduct of business operations.
Omicron Delta Epsilon
Omicron Delta Epsilon is an international honor society in economics that recognizes scholastic excellence, the honoring of outstanding achievements in economics, and the establishment of closer ties between students and faculty within colleges and universities.
Study Abroad Germany Program
