John O. Vartan, PE, RLS

Mr. John O. Vartan, a 1970 civil engineering graduate of Michigan Tech, is chairman of Vartan Enterprises, Inc., and chairman of Dauphin National Bank. After leaving Michigan Tech, John earned a Master's degree in engineering from Penn State University in 1973. In 1975, he founded Vartan Associates, Inc., which has grown to be the largest development company in central Pennsylvania. He is a fellow of ASCE. He is a registered professional engineer and land surveyor in several states.
Mr. Vartan has received numerous honors including Michigan Tech's Silver Medal, Penn State's Fellow Award, and Armenian Apostolic Church's Prince of Cilicia Honorific. He has also received an honorary Doctor of Engineering from Michigan Tech. Mr. Vartan has an outstanding record of community service, serving on the boards of a variety of non-profit organizations.
