Biography

Dr. Gilbertson is an experienced instructor having developed and delivered instructional materials to pre-college, college, and practitioner-level audiences.  Dr. Gilbertson’s research interests include design, load rating, and asset management of bridges and pre-college outreach.  He is active in the TRAC and NSTI programs which serve to excite middle and high-school students about careers in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields specifically in areas related to transportation and civil engineering.
