COPPER COUNTRY CODERS
Looking for a new volunteer opportunity? The Copper Country Coders program is back for the 2021-2022 academic year! In Copper Country Coders, Michigan
Tech students lead small courses in programming and computer science for local middle
and high school students. Our organization provides hands-on experiences in teaching,
leadership, communication, and teamwork. We aim to educate local middle and high school
students in fun and exciting ways.
Copper Country Coders meets Saturdays, 1-2:30 pm, in Rekhi Hall during the fall and
spring semesters. Interested? Email Dr. Chuck Wallace with questions or if you'd like to volunteer.
COMPUTING LEARNING CENTER
The College of Computing Learning Center is open for business, on-campus and in-person! The CCLC, in Rekhi Hall, is staffed by upper-level undergraduate students and supported by Michigan Tech's College of Computing. The coaches can help with homework, broad topics, programming tips, and more Sunday through Friday from 2-5 pm and 7-10 pm. Just stop in and get the help you need for success in your computing courses. Appointments are available but not necessary.
