What is your fondest memory of your time in the CS department
Spending time with my team doing weekend work sessions in the lab, ordering pizza and drinks, and coding away!
How has your education impacted your career?
My education at MTU was paramount to me getting a fresh-out-of-college full-time developer job at General Motors. From there, I was able to easily move to IBM, where I have remained. My interviewers were especially interested to hear about Husky Games Development Enterprise and my technical and leadership skills displayed there.
Emily participates in the CS1000 Alumni Assignment project where alumni correspond with first-year computer science students and answer questions they have about the school, the program, the industry, or just life in general at Michigan Tech.
