Biography

Dr. Jae Sung Kim received his Ph.D. in Geomatics from the School of Civil Engineering at Purdue University. Later, he worked on geospatial research and education at various academic organizations. His research areas include photogrammetry, remote sensing, GIS, geodesy, geospatial cyberinfrastructure, and the application of geospatial technologies to agriculture, environmental sciences, and planetary sciences. He is serving as an associate editor of the Journal of Applied Remote Sensing published by the International Society for Optics and Photonics. Also, he is currently an assistant director of the Photogrammetric Applications Division in the ASPRS
