Biography

Dr. Barron is a faculty member dedicated to student success. His passion lies in helping students develop a sense of belonging at Michigan Tech and in the engineering profession. His research interests include educational methods, non-cognitive factors, and the growth mindset. Prior to MTU, Dr. Barron worked for Bay de Noc Community College for eleven years and he also has several years of experience working for Kimberly-Clark Corporation in Research and Development. Outside of work, he enjoys running, taking saunas, and most outdoor activities.
