Biography
Cameron Hadden is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the MAE department at Michigan Tech. He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Tech, with a focus on Molecular Modelling of High-Performance Composite Materials.
Cameron’s BS degree was also from Michigan Tech, and lead to him working for Toyota as a Vehicle Safety Engineer. While he was with Toyota, Cameron worked in the crash test facility with the goal of improving vehicle safety through dynamic crash test analysis of the vehicle crush-zone and corresponding crash test dummy output data. He also has industry experience as an Optimization Engineer in a paper mill, where he worked to improve product quality and reduce operating costs.
So far, Cameron has taught 13 different graduate and undergraduate level courses, and he serves on both the curriculum committee and the assessment committee to continuously improve curricula and degree programs for the MAE department.
