We meet the project's scope, schedule, and budget for new and existing building construction, utility infrastructure, site improvements, renovations, furnishings, and equipment while consistently exemplifying the university's core values.
Below is a list of current active projects with a project budget over $50,000. These projects are in construction or are getting ready to start construction.

Dow Elevator Addition
Start Date: April 24, 2023
Expected Completion Date: January 2025
Project Description: The addition of an elevator to the north side of the Dow Environmental Sciences & Engineering building, including necessary renovations to the existing building.
East Hall
Start Date: October 2023
Expected Completion Date: August 2025
Project Description: Construction of the University's new residence hall on the east end of campus near the Rozsa Center. East Hall will house more than 500 students and is slated to offer suites with both single and double occupancy bedrooms and semi-private baths.
Keweenaw Research Center (KRC) Test Support Building
Start Date: July 22, 2024
Expected Completion Date: Summer 2025
Project Description: New facility for KRC vehicle testing and maintenance.
Psy-HF Renovation at M&M Building
Start Date: January 13, 2025
Expected Completion Date: April 2025
Project Description: Renovation of the east portion of M&M building 3rd and 4th floors for the Psychology and Human Factors department.
GLRC 322 Renovation
Start Date: January 15, 2025
Expected Completion Date: June 2025
Project Description: Remodeling a former lab into an office space.
MTU Classroom Renovation projects
Start Date: January 15, 2025
Expected Completion Date: December 2025
Project Description: Renovations to various classrooms and lecture halls on campus including in the MEEM, EERC, Dow, Walker, and Forestry Buildings, as well as Dillman Hall.
