The University Student Aid Grant is awarded to undergraduate students based on both
financial need and academic merit.
Grant Value
Eligible students may receive funding that ranges between $150 to $22,000. Students
are evaluated annually and may receive this grant for up to five years (ten semesters)
of study.
Recipients must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.00 at the end of each
spring semester. Continuous, regular full-time undergraduate enrollment of at least
12 credits and acceptable social behavior must also be maintained. Students must also complete their FAFSA each year and have the results sent to Michigan Tech. Changes in Student Aid Index (FAFSA results) and overall financial need may change
the value of the University Student Aid Grant.
