Biography
I conduct fundamental and applied research focused on hydrology, nutrient cycling, and soil health in forest, wetland, and agricultural landscapes. I use field and laboratory studies and geospatial modeling to ask how disturbances, land management, and ecological change influence physical processes and ecosystem functions. I teach courses in the physical sciences and forest measurements and am passionate about experiential education, supporting student research, and integrating community science and K-12 education into my work.
