Greg is currently President and CEO of Summo Minerals Corporation in Denver, Colorado, a start-up copper mining company he founded and successfully developed. The Corporation's centerpiece is the Libson Valley Project in Southern Utah, where mining is expected to begin in January 1998. Greg has more than 20 years of experience as a Geological Engineer in exploration and mine development and operation. He worked eleven years for Norando in Arizona, Alaska, and Idaho; five years for CoCa Mines in Montana and California; and then four years as Vice President of St. Mary Minerals.
Greg came to Michigan Technological University from Dartmouth College in 1974. He had field experience in East Africa at Lake Rudolf and in Central America. While attending Michigan Tech, Greg did an ambitious MS thesis in Guatemala and graduated in 1976 with an MS degree in Geology.
