Upskill at Michigan Tech.
An advanced degree typically refers to any educational qualification beyond a bachelor's degree, which allows you to build on and add a focus area to your undergraduate education.
With the right advanced degree, you can also harness the skills you need to become a leader, such as collaboration, communication, analysis, and decision-making. Obtaining a graduate certificate or a master’s degree also signals to many employers that you are ambitious and motivated: ready and able to take your skills and career to the next level.
In uncertain economic times, too, individuals with advanced degrees may not only increase their earnings, but also gain more job stability.
Michigan Tech offers online graduate certificates (from 9 to 15 credits) and graduate degrees (both MS and PhD) in several key areas, which can help you gain deeper knowledge and expertise in a specific field or profession. When you complete these online programs, you'll receive the same, respected Michigan Tech degree. The only difference is the mode of delivery.
