The following is a list of Federal and Michigan government agencies offering fellowships that may be of interest to prospective and current students looking for funding opportunities. Please note that most U.S. Federal agency programs require U.S. Citizenship.
Some programs require submission of a letter of intent prior to the full application (for example, Homeland Security). Program announcements are usually available 2 - 3 months in advance of the deadline.
Use Grants.gov and Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education for a broader search of fellowship opportunities, including those for non-U.S. Citizens.
