Founded in 2014, Pavlis Honors College is a hub for experiential learning at Michigan Tech. Our honors program combine complementary academic coursework with hands-on, real-world experiences, offering students unique opportunities to engage in interdisciplinary projects, global leadership initiatives, research, and entrepreneurship.
Our approach is student-centered. We encourage independent thinking and offer the flexibility for students to design personalized journeys that align with their ambitions. Whether it's through leadership roles in the Honors Program, engaging in outreach with Global and Community Engagement, or conducting groundbreaking research through the Undergraduate Research and Internship Program (URIP) or Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF), our students gain skills that set them apart as future leaders and innovators.
