'Residential Living: What To Expect' Webinar

Welcome to the Husky family! We are thrilled that you have chosen to join the on-campus residential community here at Michigan Tech. As you prepare to start this exciting new chapter in your life, we want to ensure that you are fully informed and comfortable with the transition into our residence halls. 

With that in mind, we would like to invite you to our upcoming "Residential Living: What To Expect in Your First 120 Days" webinar on July 25 at 5:30-7 pm. This webinar is designed specifically for new incoming students, and it will cover a wide range of topics that will help you succeed in setting up your home in our residence halls.

What To Expect

During the webinar, our team of experienced staff will be giving you strategies to help you transition to your new Husky home in the halls. Topics include:

  • Residence Hall Community Guidelines

  • Important dates and deadlines

  • Residence hall amenities and services

  • Meal Plan information and dietary accommodations

  • Shuttle Services

  • How to navigate living in the residence halls

  • Successful tips for living with a roommate

  • Ways to get involved at Tech and experience the Keweenaw

  • Accessing support services and much more.

Additionally, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and interact with our team so feel free to come prepared with any concerns or questions.
