Senior Media Systems Engineer #24343
As a member of the Media Technology Services team, the Senior Media Systems Engineer
is responsible for planning, designing, procurement, installation, programming, implementation,
maintenance, support, and
periodic operation of university media technology systems. The systems include Crestron,
Q-SYS and Extron controlled audio/visual systems, video streaming systems, IP video
production facilities, digital signage systems and DSP enabled audio systems in classrooms,
conference rooms, entertainment venues, and research facilities. Additionally, assist
in the creation of technical documentation as needed. You will become part of a culture

As a member of Information Technology, you will assume a meaningful role in sustaining and expanding business intelligence while establishing best practices for data integrations and data warehouse development at Michigan Tech.
You will be responsible for collaborating with the Business System Analysts, Business Intelligence Analysts and campus community to design, develop, implement and support solutions related to the business intelligence initiatives at the University. As the lead developer for data integrations you will collaborate with programmer/analysts to establish best practices for data integration between systems while cataloging existing/new data integrations.
