Computer Labs

Michigan computing spaces across campus range from traditional settings—labs with desktop computers to wireless lounges for relaxing or studying between classes—to spaces designed specifically for collaboration, which are equipped with workspaces, white boards, and LCD screens. 

• AppsAnywhere is installed on all Windows lab computers on this webpage. Software is available on those computers through its web-based Application Catalog. For more information, visit the AppsAnywhere knowledge base.
• All university lab computers are equipped with the Campus common core software package and have the ability to print to any HuskyPrint station on campus. The IT Support Center also has articles on a variety of printing issues.

Lab Types

• Open labs/wireless lounges are available to all students.
• Reservable Labs are available 24/7 for student use when class is not in session. Refer to the room schedules posted at each location. Your HuskyCard will allow you to enter buildings and labs where you have access. 
• Restricted labs are for use by specific student categories and are indicated in the lab type.

* Dillman 208 is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Reservable Lab.
** Dow 211 is a Windows lab but does have a single Linux workstation.
