Library 242 is an open computer classroom. It contains 25 Window's PC's and can be reserved through the Registrar's office.

Library 244

Library 244 is primarily used for library instruction and workshops. Schedule librarian-led class instruction on information literacy skills such as finding, using, and evaluating library resources, or request customized library instruction workshops for your department or course.

When not in use for these purposes, Library 244 is available as an open study space and can be accessed 24/7 using your HuskyCard. During the academic year, student groups may reserve the space for meetings and activities after 5p using the library’s Reserve a Space Form.

Experimental Education Environment

The Experimental Education Environment (E3), Library 243, is a new space meant to support all Michigan Tech instructors’ experimentation with instructional designs, use of instructional technology or educational media, and room or furniture arrangement. Instructors may reserve E3 for one or more class sessions, up to a full semester. When not in use for classes, the E3 is available as open, wireless-enabled study space and can be accessed 24/7 using your HuskyCard. For more information, please contact ctl@mtu.edu.
