Earn a Bachelor's and a Master's in Less Time

Accelerate your education, and get on the fast track to advanced studies in mechanical engineering. The Mechanical Engineering Accelerated Master’s program will allow you to count up to six senior-level credits toward both a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

The Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Mechanics Accelerated Master’s program offers a thesis option, a report option, and a coursework only option designed for highly motivated students who wish to gain a competitive edge with an accelerated advanced degree. There is a growing demand for graduates with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, and the accelerated program will provide you with a pathway to meet this need in fewer semesters.

Applications are reviewed on an individual basis using a holistic approach. Fill out our free graduate application online to apply to any of our programs. Official transcripts and scores are not required for the initial application, although you will need to upload them later.

Accelerated Master's Requirements

Our Accelerated Master's Program is available for current Michigan Tech students.
