Frederic Sherriff

Fred Sherriff earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Tech in 1963. After graduation he began a 33 year career in the food business as a Project Engineer with General Foods Corporation at Post Cereals in Battle Creek. He has held various positions of leadership in Plant, Division, and Corporate Engineering with what today is known as Kraft Foods, a subsidiary of the Philip Morris Companies.
Sherriff held the positions of Director of Engineering for General Foods, Operations Vice President for the company's Entenmann's subsidiary and the Kraft Frozen Foods Division, and Plant Manager of Post Cereals Plant and Entenmann's Bakery Facility. He currently is the Plant Manager of the Chicago Manufacturing Facility. He is a member of the Michigan Tech Founders Club. He is active with the local Rotary Club, Junior Achievement and the Boy Scouts of America.
