More Initiatives
Under the NSF-sponsored project “Research Initiation: Factors Motivating Engineering Faculty to Adopt and Teach New Engineering Technologies”, Dr. Michelle Jarvie-Eggart and Dr. Shari Stockero are researching how and why engineering faculty learn new programming languages and software, as well as the barriers that prevent them from doing so. This project aims to propose a new conceptual model of technology adoption among engineering faculty. They are looking for engineering faculty to participate in an approximately one hour interview. Participants will receive a $75 amazon gift card for their time. Participants identity will remain anonymous.
If you are interested in participating in this research, please fill out the Participant Volunteer Form.
Incoming community college transfer students who plan to major in electrical engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, or computer network and system administration are invited to apply for the Engineering Technology Scholars-IMPRESS program.
