Biography

Coby-Dillon is a writer and editor from the Great Lakes. Prior to joining Michigan Tech, they received their MFA in creative writing from the University of Virginia, where they were a Henry Hoyns Fellow in Fiction and served as editor-in-chief of Meridian. Their writing has been published in Baltimore Review, Salt Hill Journal, Cream City Review, and elsewhere.

April is a busy month for students at Michigan Technological University, who are known for their high levels of involvement in and out of the classroom. Graduating senior Connor Tokie is no exception. Together with his fellow members of Michigan Tech's chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Tokie will be hosting the Eastern Great Lakes ASCE Student Symposium at MTU on April 10-12. The symposium is the regional competition for ASCE teams including Steel Bridge, Concrete Canoe and Timber Strong.
