The Young Women Leaders Program (YWLP) is an interactive virtual leadership program that will prepare you to make an impact on your community through skill development, mentorship, and service. The program delivers thoughtful and intensive curriculum through small group learning and interactive projects to provide participants with concepts for personalized growth.
Applications are now being accepted for the Spring 2021 cohort. Limited spaces are available. Application deadline is 2/1/2021.
Frequently Asked Questions
YWLP is open to high school students of all genders currently enrolled in grades 9, 10, or 11. Students in grade 8 may apply and be placed on a waitlist in the event that program capacity is expanded.
To apply, fill out and submit the application form with a parent or guardian by the deadline on 2/1/2021. Acceptance will be provided on a rolling basis.
Full participation in all course sessions and activities will require a minimum of five hours per month. There will be two synchronous (everybody at the same time) course sessions per month as well as additional independent and group activities that participants will complete on their own time.

There is no cost to attend, however, you are required to commit to full participation in all course sessions and activities, amounting to a minimum of five hours per month.

YWLP focuses on fostering leadership skills that empower youth to make an impact in their communities. Participants will develop foundational skills, including:
