The Elizabeth and Richard Henes Center for Quantum Phenomena develops and disseminates scholarship on all aspects of quantum phenomena. Located in the heart of the main campus, in Fisher Hall, the center was established in 2015. We promote research and teaching activities broadly related to quantum science, expanding boundaries and spanning the many disciplines on campus.
Our mission is to lead national and international research and education in the broad array of sciences linked together under the common theme of ‘quantum world.’
"This gift will help Michigan Tech continue to build an outstanding physics department that is working at the cutting edge of modern physics."
