Individuals who are 60 years of age or older and are residents of Houghton County or counties contiguous with Houghton County (Baraga, Iron, Keweenaw, and Ontonagon) may audit up to two courses per semester. Tuition and related fees will be waived.
- Individuals taking courses for the first time at Michigan Tech must apply through the Admissions Office.
- Regularly scheduled undergraduate and graduate courses are available for audit, subject to approval by the Registrar's Office.
- Persons who are not assessed fees are not entitled to receive any associated benefits.
