A transcript is a student’s complete academic record at Michigan Technological University.
Michigan Tech has partnered with the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to provide electronic and paper transcripts through their online transcript ordering system. This partnership allows you to request transcripts 24 hours a day, seven
days a week with tracking capability through text messaging or email.
The NSC website provides instructions for submitting a request, including delivery options and fees. You can also track your order online if you have the order number and email address used to place the order.
Official transcripts are printed on special protective paper or created in a secure electronic format. Paper transcripts can be mailed domestically and internationally. Electronic transcripts are sent through a secure process and are typically delivered within 20 minutes of the request being submitted.
Students may come to the Registrar's Office on Michigan Tech's campus, in person with their photo ID to request a transcript. This is a free service with a limit of five copies per day. Requests for paper transcripts in a sealed envelope must be processed through the NSC.
