How do I login to GivePulse?
Navigate to the GivePulse website and select login from the upper right hand corner. Select "Single Sign On" and then
search for and select "Michigan Technological University." Enter your Michigan Tech
single sign on credentials and select login.

How do I find service opportunities on GivePulse?
From the main Michigan Tech page, select events to view upcoming or open and ongoing
volunteer opportunities. Click an event block to learn more about each opportunity.
Ready to commit? Select the blue "register" button on the upper right hand side of
the event page.

How do I learn more about organizations in our community?
From the Michigan Tech page, select "Affiliates" to learn more about the groups that
are active in the Keweenaw. If an organization does not have a lot of information
on GivePulse, contact their primary administrator or navigate to their organization's
website.

How do I add service hours to GivePulse?
If you signed up directly for an event, your impact will be added automatically when
you are marked as attended. However, if you completed service hours outside of a GivePulse
event, you can still add those hours. Full instructions on adding impacts, tracking and updating impacts, and sharing impacts can be found on the GivePulse support website. When adding impacts, please make sure
it is set to "public" and shared with Michigan Technological University so we can
view the full impact we are having on the community.

How do I create a group page on GivePulse for my organization?
Follow the directions on the GivePulse support website to create your group. Make sure your group doesn't already exist before getting started, you may only
need to update your administrator. Group pages with basic functionality are free for non-profits and community organizations.

How do I ensure the Michigan Tech community is seeing opportunities to work with my
group?
Add your organization as an affiliate to the Michigan Tech group. This allows all of your organizations events to be listed
on the main Michigan Tech volunteer page. Each week we also share "Coming up on GivePulse"
updates in our student newsletter to highlight upcoming volunteer events in our area.

How do I recruit Huskies to volunteer with my organization?
Follow the directions on the GivePulse support website to create your event. If you are affiliated with Michigan Tech, your event will automatically be posted
to the Michigan Tech homepage. Events can be open and ongoing opportunities, one day
events, or shifts over the course of multiple days and weeks.

Students volunteered with my group. How do I verify their impact?
There are two ways to verify impacts. If you created an event that the student registered
for, you can simply sign them in. If there was not an associated event and students are reporting the hours to you
directly, you may follow these instructions to verify their impact.
