Your Mentorship Experience
As a Husky Connect participant, you'll receive:
- Personalized guidance from a current Michigan Tech student
- Enrollment in a specialized one-credit success course
- Regular one-on-one meetings with your mentor
- Invitations to exclusive social and networking events
- A $500 Academic Incentive applied to your spring financial aid package upon successful completion*

Husky Connect Success 101
This one-credit course is designed specifically to support your transition from high school to college. You'll:
- Learn effective strategies for academic success
- Explore campus resources and involvement opportunities
- Meet with career professionals and faculty researchers
- Develop skills in time management and leadership
- Connect with other first-year students in the program
Who Can Apply
You're eligible if you are an:
- Incoming first-year student, AND
- Pell Grant eligible student OR first-generation college student (neither parent/guardian graduated from a 4-year institution)
