Peer Mentoring for First-Year Students

Husky Connect pairs first-year students with experienced upper-class mentors who share similar academic or personal interests. This program helps students transition to college life, make meaningful connections, and become part of a supportive community—particularly beneficial for first-generation college students and transfers.

STEM Research for Community College Students

The MiCUP Scholars Program is a seven-week summer research experience designed for students from select Michigan community colleges. Participants work alongside Michigan Tech faculty and experts to explore STEM research opportunities while developing valuable academic and professional skills.
