Cate Banzen

Biography

Cate is this year’s Programming Coordinator for Orientation 2024, planning out all of the activities that incoming students will be participating in. Cate’s plan after graduation is to work somewhere in the medical field, involving herself in the Pre-Health Association at Tech. She is also currently an ExSEL Peer Mentor and is going through the process of becoming a member of Delta Phi Epsilon.

Favorite Places in Houghton: Bottom floor of Atrium in DOW (to study), Lake of the Clouds
Favorite UP Restaurant: La Cantina (my family loves it a little too much)

Best Snow-Related Moment: Seeing all of the statues on a beautiful day during Winter Carnival during a campus tour and experiencing Tech’s “Winter Wonderland”
