Michigan Tech's orientation for incoming students consists of two required parts: a Summer Session and the Fall Orientation Week. This comprehensive approach means you'll be fully prepared for academic success.
All incoming students must attend both a Summer Session and the Fall Orientation Week.
Summer Sessions
The schedule is the same for each of following two-day sessions:

Transportation and Parking
Free parking is available in Lot 24 during Summer orientation sessions. Parking passes
will be provided at check-in.
If you're attending Fall orientation, parking information will be provided with your
housing assignment.
Weather Contingency Plans
All orientation events will continue regardless of weather. In case of severe weather, outdoor activities will be moved indoors. Bring appropriate clothing for Upper Peninsula weather, which can change quickly.
