Get Involved in Music

At Michigan Tech, you don't have to choose between STEM and the arts. Go behind the scenes of Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2, "Resurrection," as members of the Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra reflect on one of the most ambitious musical productions in Tech's history. Performed in celebration of the Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts' 25th anniversary, the concert brought together more than 170 musicians—including the Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra, Michigan Tech Choirs, regional performers, and guest soloists—for the largest symphonic performance ever presented on the Rozsa stage. Discover how music provides balance, community, and creative expression alongside demanding academic programs—and why opportunities like this are central to the Michigan Tech experience.
