Regardless of your major, there are many ways to participate in the arts at Michigan Tech.
Art. Ceramics, drawing and painting, and sculpture/fiber studios to hone your craft. Three different studios to display your work.
Music. Nine different bands and ensembles, two choirs, and one symphony using two great stages for performances. Compose your own music and see it performed live on stage.
Sound. Work with recorded and live music, theatrical sound, and movie and TV sound in our recording studio, film mixing studio, and lighting and sound lab.
Theatre. Comedies, dramas, and musicals across two great stages throughout the year, supported by a fully functional costume and scene shop and lighting and sound lab.
Plus ten different student organizations cover pep band, the recording industry, audio engineering, video game development, student radio, and more.
