The Graduate School of Michigan Technological University as previously established shall continue to grant those advanced degrees previously authorized and such degrees as may hereafter be authorized by the Board of Trustees.

13.4 ROTC Cross-Town Agreements

The administration is authorized to enter into Cross-Town Agreements in order to make Army and Air Force ROTC programs available to eligible students of Finlandia University.

13.5 Air Force ROTC

The continuation of active R.O.T.C. programs at Michigan Technological University is encouraged as long as they can be fitted satisfactorily into the University program.

13.6 Off-Campus and/or Continuing Education

The administration is authorized to grant college credit to persons who have successfully completed University courses delivered to off-campus sites by University faculty either at those sites or by other means such as videotape or satellite transmission.

The Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs is authorized to establish rules and procedures for implementation of this policy.

13.7 Credit Hour Count

Student credit hour counts shall be taken at the close of business on Wednesday of the second week of the term or semester for courses offered under the full instructional term or semester, or the same percentage of time for courses offered under other parts of the instructional term. For courses offered under a non-conventional schedule, as approved by the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, student credit hour counts shall be taken at the close of business on Wednesday of the second week of the instructional period.
