With an 18-credit minor in data acquisition and industrial control, you'll learn the fundamental principles of data collection, analysis, and interpretation. Students build theoretical and practical background in measurement principles; data acquisition, analysis and interpretation; and control systems analysis and design. You'll design and interpret experiments that will allow you to cross interdisciplinary lines and collaborate with other experts.
The minor in data acquisition and industrial control is most applicable to the fields of electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, and surveying engineering.
